Saint V day....

No.. this is not Saint Valentine's day.. Its a different V day. It so happened that last week, everyone at my work was warning about this day which was falling on the friday . The warnings were... take care on friday when you go back to home, dont wear your good shoes, Be ready to see a massive crowd , people boozing and people also peeing on the road .. he he.
I was intitally a little apprehensive. So at 3 in the afternoon , when I was in a meeting and it happened to be on the ground floor , the road was filled with a big group of people. There was huge trucks carrying big barrels and Beer machines.
Yes it was a boozing festival for all the university students for a reason "who cares". Read more from : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_V. Huge crowd started pouring and blarring music and lots of beer ! Our office breathed Beer. :).
There was some student waving out to me from the road and I could not control my laugh since he was in the real Booz state!!
So once the meeting was over, I ran out..enjoyed the music , saw the madness and had a different experience. It was fun .. it was totally new to me.. to see students dancing on the road , drinking never ending and offering to us :).
Wanted to dance ... Anyways it was easy to walk back home .. though the road was all wet.. with beer or .... :)"Who cares".
Thank God.. I did not see anyone throwing up after so much drinking which I heard is very common. Anyway it was nice, fun and different!
