:) Title seems a tad weird to me too!! Its closer to cherry picking except that we did pick on a lot of strawberries,rasberries, potato, sla,salad,turnip,mint, courgette,tomato and cocombre.
We had been to Maries Garden and this is the time of year for fruits and vegetables to come out and the flowers to wither . It was a totally different experience and being a city person never did I have a chance for this back in India. I always wanted to apple picking .. but this is the first step :) This garden is in Ovarijse and well maintained and mainly let out for public to pick the fresh food from farm.
Obviously its expensive since its fresh and people just go around and do not take good care of the farm and strawberries seem to scattered and squashed on the floor. But there are many enthusiast who did the picking carefully (like me) and some who ate the fruits directly from the plants(like my daughter :)). Over all a fun day for Niyati and a great experience for me. ( Drawbacks: dint see any ripe tomatoes nor fully grown cucumbre, the farm is not very huge but decently sized)
